Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners in a vibrant elementary school environment. This full-time, onsite contract role is ideal for a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for making a lasting impact in the educational setting. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, serving an elementary-age caseload and collaborating closely with teachers and staff to foster student growth and independence.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted COTA license issued by the state of California
  • School-based experience required—elementary level experience highly valued
  • Background working with diverse student populations
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Dedicated, flexible, and enthusiastic mindset
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assist in the development and implementation of activities that enhance student participation and performance
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to design intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and session outcomes
  • Communicate student goals and progress with caregivers and staff
  • Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
  • Support general duties as assigned by supervising therapists and educators
