As an integral member of the student services team, you’ll work closely with licensed Occupational Therapists and educational staff to deliver interventions in line with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your dedication will ensure students gain vital life skills and increased independence in both classroom and social environments.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current, valid state certification or eligibility as a COTA
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and special education processes
  • Collaborative, flexible attitude with effective communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and an enthusiasm for helping children succeed
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions under the guidance of a supervising OT
  • Support the development and adaptation of classroom materials and activities
  • Collect and report progress data as part of the special education team
  • Participate in developing IEP goals relevant to occupational therapy
  • Communicate progress and needs with teachers, therapists, and families
