Here’s what we’re seeking in an ideal candidate:

  • Valid COTA certification and licensure in Massachusetts, or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and school documentation requirements
  • Ability to effectively implement therapeutic interventions under the direction of an OTR/L
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to support varying student needs
  • Positive communication style and collaborative approach with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering targeted OT interventions to support students' access to education and daily participation
  • Tracking progress and assisting with assessment and documentation as part of the IEP process
  • Adapting activities and environments to foster student success and independence
  • Participating in team meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff
  • Providing consultation and resources to classroom teachers to enhance student outcomes
