Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This anticipated contract position offers the flexibility to float between locations within a vibrant district located near Springfield, MA, serving a diverse caseload in collaboration with skilled professionals.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for adaptable COTAs who thrive on variety and value building relationships across multiple school settings. With a schedule of approximately 29 hours per week (potential for 30 hours, based on district needs), you’ll make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year, starting September 3, 2026, through June 24, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active COTA licensure and registration
  • Previous school-based COTA experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work across multiple grade levels
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Eagerness to adapt in a floater position and serve a variety of students (caseload specifics to be confirmed)
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined by IEPs
  • Support a broad range of students—including Pre-K through high school seniors—across multiple campuses
  • Collaborate with OT supervisors, special education staff, and classroom teachers to implement intervention strategies
  • Maintain documentation and track student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Adjust therapy approaches to match evolving caseload needs and support positive student outcomes
