Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current national certification as a COTA
  • Valid state license (or eligibility to obtain) for practice in Arkansas
  • Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare COTA roles is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, meeting the diverse needs of students
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized occupational therapy services to students as directed by the supervising occupational therapist
  • Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and adaptive functioning within the school environment
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support each child’s educational and therapeutic plan
  • Assist in developing activities and modifications that promote student participation and success in daily classroom routines
