An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) interested in supporting students across Carbon and Lehigh Counties during the 2026-2027 school year. Four contract positions are open for dedicated professionals ready to deliver impactful therapy services in a dynamic school environment. This role offers up to 35 hours per week, aligning with the assigned school's academic calendar.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license (required)
  • Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (required)
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric, school-based, or special education settings
  • Comfortable providing occupational therapy to students with disabilities
  • Readiness and availability to work in Carbon and/or Lehigh Counties
  • Ability to maintain a regular, school-day schedule (up to 35 hours per week)
  • Must be able to attend an in-person interview
  • Prepared to present documentation, including active licensure, NBCOT #, full name, city of residence, and a resume highlighting relevant experience
  • Responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy interventions under the direction of lead therapists or supervisors
  • Provide direct services to students according to IEP goals and school policies
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support each student's progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and certification standards
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and school-wide initiatives as required
