This full-time, contract position involves engaging with learners ranging from Pre-K through transitional ages (up to 22) across multiple school settings. You'll have a dynamic schedule, traveling between elementary, middle, and high schools within the district, adapting your expertise to meet each campus's unique rhythms and student needs.

Desired Skills & Licensure:

  • Possess an active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Hold a current educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting highly encouraged
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Eagerness to work with a varied caseload from preschool through age 22
  • Must be able to complete required fingerprinting for credentialing
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions supporting IEP goals and student progress
  • Adapt activities and strategies for diverse learning and physical needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, OTs, school staff, and families
  • Monitor and document student performance, adjusting plans as needed
  • Travel between assigned schools within the district, managing a flexible daily schedule
