Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Connecticut COTA certification (CT DPH License and passed NBCOT Exam) or an active Connecticut OT license
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred
  • Must have access to reliable transportation

  • Committed to meeting the needs of a diverse caseload across multiple age groups
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services onsite to students from Pre-K to 12th grade
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and provide recommendations to support student success
  • Facilitate activities that enhance fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills in a school setting
  • Participate in meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve as a resource to teachers and families regarding strategies and accommodations
