You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with a caseload of 15-20 students, making a difference in their school experience and overall well-being.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current COTA certification and eligibility to practice in Connecticut
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, sensory processing, and fine/gross motor interventions
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Ability to adapt to multiple school environments and student needs
  • Compassionate, patient, and organized approach
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support students’ IEP goals, implementing individualized interventions to promote student participation and independence
  • Provide therapeutic activities targeting self-care, sensory, and motor skills
  • Assist with progress monitoring, documentation, and data collection
  • Collaborate with education teams and contribute insights to improve student outcomes
  • Rotate among multiple school sites as part of your weekly schedule
