Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant serving K-12 students across four school buildings—two elementary, one middle, and one high—within a supportive district environment. This role offers the chance to truly make a difference by working collaboratively with the onsite Occupational Therapist, who will provide guidance and supervision throughout your tenure. The assignment begins August 25, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, with a full-time workload of 35 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Pennsylvania COTA license (required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to effectively partner with the supervising OT and faculty across grade levels
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach to interventions and supports
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Collaborate with the supervising OT to implement individualized education program (IEP) strategies and data tracking
  • Travel between buildings as needed, supporting students in various educational settings
  • Assist in documentation, progress monitoring, and reporting as required by district standards
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages each student's growth and independence
