Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, educators, and families
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for occupational therapy assistant practice
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist with implementing treatment plans aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
  • Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and support staff
