We are seeking two Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) to provide on-site services within a dynamic school district near Schaumburg, IL. This full-time, itinerant position spans multiple school sites, working with a diverse student population from Pre-K through age 22 (transition). Each site, ranging from elementary to high school, offers unique opportunities to make a difference every day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
  • Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
  • Flexibility to travel between assigned schools within the district
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
  • Commitment to completing required credentialing, including fingerprinting, in a timely manner
  • Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Delivering occupational therapy treatment plans developed by district OTs
  • Supporting students with a variety of needs, helping them reach educational and developmental goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families to facilitate student success
  • Documenting progress and participating in IEP meetings when required
  • Managing a caseload that may vary by assignment, spanning multiple age groups and schools
  • Actively contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment

This is a contract role with a start date of August 27th, 2026, through June 9th, 2027, and full-time hours (35-37.5 per week) that follow school schedules.
