This position, beginning August 4th and extending through May 22nd, offers the chance to work with a dynamic group of K-12 students in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.

As a key member of the school-based therapy team, you will work a steady 37.5 hours per week, providing essential support and therapeutic interventions for a caseload of approximately 40 students. Your work will help children access their education and develop skills for greater independence.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as required
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred, with strong understanding of K-12 student needs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Compassion, adaptability, and a passion for empowering students
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic services to support IEP goals
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, special education staff, teachers, and families
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and document services in accordance with school protocols
  • Assist in developing student programs and accommodations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing assessments
