COTA Needed Full Time in Wilmington, MA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district in Wilmington, Massachusetts. This is an ASAP start opportunity for a COTA interested in supporting students throughout the school setting and working alongside a collaborative occupational therapy team.
The position is 0.8 FTE, with workday hours typically falling between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Previous school-based experience is preferred, making this a great opportunity for a COTA who enjoys working with students and is familiar with the school environment.

What You’ll Do
Provide occupational therapy services to students under the direction and supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
Support students in developing functional, fine motor, sensory, and classroom-related skills
Implement individualized treatment activities based on student needs and established goals
Assist with carrying out IEP-related occupational therapy services
Monitor student progress and communicate observations with the supervising OT
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and other members of the educational team
Help students participate as independently as possible in their academic and school routines
Qualifications
Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current Massachusetts COTA licensure
Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Previous school-based experience preferred
Pediatric experience is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
