Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement student-centered interventions
  • Collaborative approach to working with therapy, teaching, and administrative teams
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy programs as directed by an Occupational Therapist
  • Support students’ participation in classroom activities and daily routines
  • Document according to school and regulatory requirements
  • Adapt materials and activities for various skill levels
  • Consult with educators and family members regarding student progress
