Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ independence and skill development in a dynamic school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position offers a unique chance to provide vital services across five schools, working collaboratively with a district Occupational Therapist to serve a caseload of approximately 65 students from Pre-K through 8th grade.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct occupational therapy interventions to students on your caseload, implementing plans developed by the supervising OT.
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support students’ participation and achievement in academic and functional activities.
  • Traveling between multiple school sites to provide consistent, high-quality service across the district.
  • Contributing to IEP meetings, documentation, and progress monitoring to ensure students’ needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate daily notes and treatment records in accordance with school and legal guidelines.
  • Qualifications & experience:

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license for the state.
  • Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies across grade levels (PreK–8th) and diverse student needs.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple sites efficiently.
