If you are a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) eager to work with a diverse student population across multiple education levels, this contract role is an exciting professional opportunity located near Springfield, MA. This floater position offers the chance to support Pre K through 12th grade students, making a positive impact throughout the academic year. The assignment will run from early September 2026 through late June 2027, with 29 hours each week—potentially flexible to 30 hours, depending on your needs.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA license and certification
  • Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to work with Pre K–12th grade students
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
  • Flexibility to float between sites and adjust to changing caseloads
  • Commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized student care
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students as directed by supervising OT
  • Support implementation of IEP goals within the classroom environment
  • Travel to multiple local school sites as assigned on a set weekly schedule
  • Assist with documentation, student progress monitoring, and report preparation
  • Foster an inclusive, positive, and adaptable learning atmosphere
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maximize student outcomes
