Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), working directly with both high school and elementary-age students in a contract role. Your expertise will benefit learners across a wide age spectrum—from PreK through 12th grade—helping each reach their fullest potential. This school-based opportunity aligns with the academic year, beginning August 3, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 40 hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a COTA

  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
  • Responsibilities:

  • Support occupational therapists in providing group and one-on-one therapy to students from PreK through 12th grade
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with developing strategies and tools that enhance students’ abilities and participation in the classroom
  • Facilitate communication between students, families, and school staff
  • Ensure services adhere to IEP requirements and best practices in school-based therapy
