Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active COTA certification in the state
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
  • Ability to follow therapy plans developed by an Occupational Therapist
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic school environment
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support students with fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and document student progress
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of therapy materials and equipment
  • Participate in student assessments and data collection
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student success
  • Adhere to all school and district policies and maintain confidentiality
