Step into a vital role supporting students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a specialized school district near Baltimore, MD. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Maryland COTA license required
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP systems and documentation procedures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to an itinerant schedule
  • Dedication to helping students achieve their highest potential
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of an OT
  • Support students in developing daily living, sensory, and motor skills within classroom and therapy settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs and therapy progress
  • Collaborate with educators and families to implement student support strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
  • Travel between assigned schools with mileage reimbursement
