Key Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA certification, with current state licensure or eligibility.
  • Experience supporting children or adolescents within educational or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a therapy team, especially with district OTs.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working across diverse K-12 student populations.
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students as prescribed by occupational therapists' plans of care.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and tracking individualized education program (IEP) goals and data collection.
  • Support classroom staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily activities.
  • Collaborate with OTs, educators, and families to promote student growth and access to curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school district policies.
