Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid COTA certification in good standing
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and student documentation
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to adapt to various student needs and classroom settings
• Organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of occupational therapy plans as directed by the supervising OTR
• Assist students in developing functional skills for academic success and daily routines
• Document student progress and collaborate on IEP goals
• Promote strategies for sensory processing, fine motor skills, and self-regulation
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and progress
• Provide feedback and recommendations for teachers and families
