We are seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with our mild to moderate caseload in the vibrant community of Camarillo, CA. Position Overview:
As a full-time School COTA, you will play a vital role in helping students develop essential skills needed for academic success and daily living. You will work closely with our occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff to create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with mild to moderate needs.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to create and adapt instructional materials.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and provide documentation as required.
  • Engage students in therapeutic activities that promote learning and development.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth.

    Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential.
