Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team in Cumberland, RI. The COTA will work closely with a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services to students, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed in the classroom and everyday activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the OT in delivering therapy sessions to students, both individually and in groups.

Implement treatment plans created by the supervising OT.

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting activities as needed.

Prepare materials and adapt environments for therapy sessions.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students’ goals.

Qualifications:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification in Rhode Island.

Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
