This role runs from ASAP through November 13, 2026, and offers the chance to work closely with both students and staff across three buildings, serving grades 5 through 12. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and eligibility for licensure (as required by state regulations)
  • Prior experience in a school setting, particularly with middle and high school students, is preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage students, faculty, and families
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and supporting diverse student needs
  • Ability to manage caseload across multiple school buildings
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students in grades 5–12 as outlined in IEPs and plans
  • Collaborate with supervising occupational therapist, teachers, and other team members
  • Collect data and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Support classroom adaptations and recommend strategies for student success
  • Travel between three buildings within the district as assigned
