ProCare Therapy is seeking a motivated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with a welcoming school district in Sonora, CA. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting a potential K–12 caseload. If you're passionate about helping students achieve independence and confidence in their daily lives, we’d love to connect!
Position Snapshot
Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location: Sonora, CA
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: K–12 (specifics assigned based on district needs)
Setting: Onsite | Full School Year | Contract
Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT)
Implement therapy plans and activities for students
Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
Track progress and assist with documentation
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
Qualifications
Active California COTA license (or ability to obtain before start)
Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A student-centered, compassionate approach
