Are you a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking to make a difference in the lives of students in Irvine, CA? Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a part-time COTA to join our team for 25 hours per week. In this role, you'll work closely with students to help them overcome physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges, supporting their overall success in school and life.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with various needs in a school setting.
  • Work closely with the supervising OTR to implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals.
  • Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional skills.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on strategies to help students reach their therapeutic objectives.

    Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students, teachers, and other staff.
  • Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and industry standards.
