Are you a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking to make a difference in the lives of students in Schaumburg, IL? Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time COTA to join our team. In this role, you’ll work directly with students to help them overcome physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges, supporting their success in school and daily life.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with various needs in a school setting.
  • Work closely with the supervising OT to implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals.
  • Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional skills.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on strategies to help students meet their therapy objectives.

    Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and staff members.
  • Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and industry standards.
