Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a motivated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school district in the Fayetteville, NC area. Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will:

  • Support and implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to address motor, sensory, and functional challenges.
  • Document student progress and report updates to the OT for review.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and therapy materials.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students’ needs in the classroom.
  • Maintain compliance with school district and state policies regarding occupational therapy services.

    Qualifications

    Educational and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Active North Carolina COTA license in good standing.
  • Compliance with state and school district background check requirements.

    Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and practices.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed OT.
