We are urgently seeking a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a focus on physical therapy for a school near Fayetteville, NC!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve patients’ strength, coordination, and range of motion.
  • Provide hands-on assistance with mobility training, adaptive equipment usage, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and strategies for maintaining progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient sessions, progress notes, and billing information in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

    Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a COTA and licensure in the state of practice.
