Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic school district in New Rochelle, NY. This role involves working collaboratively with educators and families to support students' success and independence within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student goals, progress, and reports for IEPs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions on student development.

    Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current New York State licensure or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
