NEW Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Needed Near Red Lake, MN!
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a dynamic school-based team near Red Lake, MN. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to help students develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy support services to K-12 students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assist with implementing IEP goals and treatment plans
Support students with fine/gross motor skills, daily living activities, and sensory integration
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student success
Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insight into student care
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active Minnesota COTA license or eligibility to obtain one
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Passion for working with children in educational settings
Preferred Experience:
School-based or pediatric therapy experience
Familiarity with IEPs and special education services
