Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team in Woodland, CA. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to students with a range of physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges. Your goal will be to help students develop the skills they need for independence and participation in the educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy services based on students’ IEP goals
  • Provide direct treatment to students, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist, educators, and parents to support student progress
  • Document student performance and maintain records as required by school policies
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

    Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Valid California COTA license or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and work independently under OT supervision
