Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time Position

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position with a school district in the Littleton, CO area. We are looking for passionate professionals who are committed to improving the lives of students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

As a COTA in a school setting, your typical duties will include:

Assisting the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of individualized student treatment plans.

Supporting students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student learning and development.

Documenting student progress and assisting with evaluations.

Providing feedback and adjustments to therapy programs as needed.

Ensuring compliance with all school district and state guidelines.

Requirements:

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Hold an active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Colorado.

Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Pass a background check and meet any district-specific requirements.

Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred but not required.
