Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time Position 

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position with a school district in the Littleton, CO area. We are looking for passionate professionals who are committed to improving the lives of students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

As a COTA in a school setting, your typical duties will include:

  • Assisting the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of individualized student treatment plans.
  • Supporting students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student learning and development.
  • Documenting student progress and assisting with evaluations.
  • Providing feedback and adjustments to therapy programs as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with all school district and state guidelines.

    Requirements:

    To qualify for this role, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

  • Hold an active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Colorado.
  • Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Pass a background check and meet any district-specific requirements.
  • Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred but not required.
