**Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - PreK-12 School**

**Job Type:** Full-time/Part-time, Contract

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position will be based in Santa Fe, NM, serving students across PreK-12 grades. The COTA will work collaboratively with educators and therapists to provide essential occupational therapy services, supporting student development and promoting engagement in educational activities.

**Responsibilities:**
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate students’ motor skills and functional performance.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure therapy goals align with educational objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ therapeutic needs.

**Qualifications:**
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
