Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant School-Based Contract
Location: Near Bristol, NH
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Contract Dates: 9/1/2025 – 6/12/2026
ProCare Therapy is seeking a student-centered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The COTA will support a licensed Occupational Therapist in delivering services to a caseload of approximately 58 students.
This is a full-time, contract position ideal for someone passionate about helping children succeed in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy plans under OT supervision
Provide direct support to students to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Support OT with assessments, materials preparation, and student scheduling
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree from an accredited OTA program
Current NH state COTA license or eligibility by start date
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
