Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting elementary-aged students throughout the East Bay. This opportunity is tailored for a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) ready to make a meaningful impact in educational settings. The assignment begins in August and continues through June, offering consistent hours and the chance to work alongside a dedicated school-based therapy team.

In this full-time school-based position, you will:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold an active COTA license in California
  • Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with teachers, families, and fellow therapists
  • Ability to travel between campuses as needed
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with occupational therapists to implement IEP goals and therapeutic activities for elementary students
  • Support development of fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills within classroom and group settings
  • Collect data and document student progress
  • Assist in adapting classroom materials or environments to foster greater participation and access
  • Collaborate with educators and families to promote carryover and consistency
  • Pay & Assignment Details

  • Competitive compensation, with pay ranging from $35 to $45 per hour
  • 40 hours per week, across 5 days
  • Caseload consists of elementary-aged students; group size to be determined
  • Service provided across multiple campuses in the East Bay region
