Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team in High Rock, WA. In this role, you will support the Occupational Therapist in implementing therapeutic interventions to help students develop the skills necessary for daily living and academic success.

Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting evaluations of students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.

Implement individualized therapy plans developed by the Occupational Therapist, tailored to each student’s needs.

Provide direct therapy services to students, including both individual and group sessions.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Washington.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.

Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
