Responsibilities
Deliver direct, consultative, and embedded OT services in classroom, community based, and vocational settings.
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring using the Virginia IEP system.
Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals, educational standards, and evidence based practice.
Collaborate with teachers and families to embed sensory–motor and adaptive strategies into daily school activities.
Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications

Active Virginia COTA license (or eligibility—license required by August 20, 2025).

Current NBCOT certification.

School based, pediatric, or clinical experience strongly preferred.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for itinerant travel.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with physical transfers as needed.
