Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. This full-time position involves collaborating with occupational therapists to provide high-quality care and support for clients of all ages, helping them improve their daily living skills and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Treatment Plans: Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans as developed by occupational therapists, focusing on client-specific needs.

Conduct Therapy Sessions: Provide direct therapy services to clients in various settings, including clinics, schools, and community programs.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client progress, therapy activities, and relevant documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with occupational therapists, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.

Educate Clients and Families: Provide guidance and education to clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote independence.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Certification: Current New Mexico COTA license.

Experience: Experience in a clinical or school setting is preferred but not required.

Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
