Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Openings – Near Federal Way, WA

Soliant is seeking two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join a school district near Federal Way, WA. Both positions are full-time and offer the opportunity to work with K-12 students, primarily focusing on elementary caseloads. One position extends through the end of the school year (EOSY), while the other is a leave-of-absence coverage ending on April 14, 2025.

Responsibilities

Deliver occupational therapy treatments to K-12 students, with an emphasis on elementary grades.

Assist with evaluations and collaborate on the development of treatment plans.

Write and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.

Participate in meetings with staff, parents, and other stakeholders to discuss student progress.

Maintain accurate records and adhere to school district protocols.

Qualifications

Active Washington State COTA license.

Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.

Experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting preferred.

Strong ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff.

Effective organizational and communication skills.
