Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team in LaBelle, FL. The ideal candidate will support occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients, helping them improve their daily living and working skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting patient evaluations under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

Implement treatment plans designed by the occupational therapist to meet patients' specific needs.

Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients improve functional abilities.

Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.

Collaborate with occupational therapists, patients, and their families to ensure cohesive care.

Educate patients and families on exercises and activities to enhance their daily functions.

Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.

Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Valid state licensure or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Florida.

Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
