Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital therapy services to K-12 students across Monroe County’s eastern region. This full-time role runs from August 31, 2026, through June 18, 2027, and offers 35 hours per week supporting students in Monroe and Mason public schools. You’ll play a pivotal part in helping students with varying needs achieve their goals in an educational setting.

Desired Background & Skills:

  • Accredited COTA or OT with an active MI professional license
  • Prior experience working in school environments is essential
  • Skillful in supporting students with disabilities and adapting interventions as needed
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary school teams and build positive relationships with staff and families
  • Flexibility traveling between schools within Monroe County’s eastern region
  • Dedicated to providing onsite therapy services; remote work is not available for this position
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions to students across grade levels
  • Assess, develop, and implement treatment goals that align with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes per district policies
  • Communicate progress and strategies with teachers, parents, and educational staff
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and participate in student support planning
