An exciting contract opportunity awaits a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to serve as a flexible floater for the upcoming academic year! You’ll play a vital role in supporting PreK-12th grade students, working across various sites to help youth achieve academic and developmental milestones. This role offers the chance to collaborate with diverse educational teams while honing your expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key Details:

  • School year assignment running from September 3, 2026, to June 24, 2027
  • Approximately 29 hours per week, with potential to increase to 30 hours depending on preferences
  • Serve students from Pre-K through 12th grade; mileage between locations is minimal
  • Placements include multiple campuses within the area, creating a stimulating daily routine
  • Caseload specifics to be finalized closer to start, providing variety and flexibility
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Active COTA licensure in Massachusetts
  • Previous pediatric or school-based COTA experience highly valued
  • Adaptability to changing caseloads and willingness to float across multiple sites
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Dedication to fostering student independence and educational growth
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an occupational therapist, meeting each student's individual needs
  • Support IEP goals through small-group and one-on-one interventions
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to coordinate care and strategies
  • Adapt quickly to varying schedules and student requirements
