Job Description:
Billerica Public Schools is seeking a motivated and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our middle school team for the 2024/2025 school year. This part-time role involves providing vital support to students in a middle school setting, helping them achieve their occupational therapy goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the implementation of individualized therapy plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
Provide direct therapy services to middle school students to support their functional and academic development.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom activities.
Document therapy sessions and monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed.
Participate in meetings and contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:
Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Massachusetts.
Experience working with middle school-aged students is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
