Support students and elevate your career all while earning market-leading pay rates! ProCare Therapy is is working with a school district in Ludington, Michigan to hire a certified occupational therapist assistant to cover a leave of absence for the current 24-25 school year. This position will be part time and will pay up to $28/hour! 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide onsite therapy services to a K-12 caseload.
  • Assist district OTs with initial assessments and re-assessments + participate in IEP meetings. 
  • Assist with case management.
  • Build rapport and trust with the children you work with.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support teachers and other relevant staff to help students achieve their goals.

  • Pay rate will vary depending on your level of experience + the school districts allotted contracting budget.

  • You will be reimburse up to $150 for any expenses related to your state's compliance requirements. 

    Application requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active Michigan Occupational Therapist Assistant certification required.
  • Experience working in a school setting required.
  • Two references with one being a previous direct supervisor/manager.
  • Background check, drug screen + fingerprinting.
  • TB test within 60 days of start date (only applicable in certain states).

    You’ll stand out if you have:

  • Experience working in schools.
  • Spent time in special education settings.
  • Any SpEd-specific training or certifications.
