Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a school-based role in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time contract position provides an excellent opportunity to support students in an educational environment and make a significant impact on their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students, including those with special education needs.
  • Assist in creating and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's requirements.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment modifications.
  • Educate students and families about therapy goals and techniques.

    Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • Prior experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
  • Must meet all local and state regulations for occupational therapy services.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
